Payments / Currency

Account balances due by the 20th of the month following the date of your Tax Invoice. All payments are to be made in New Zealand Dollars. The Purchaser will be held liable for any additional costs incurred collecting late/overdue payments. We reserve the right to charge up to 2% of the invoice total as late payment fees and will be added to your account. Online orders within will be packed and dispatched once full payment has been received. Purchases made online are generated as an "Order" only, which allows Capital Chains to alter at our discretion. Upon completion a final "Tax Invoice" will be generated and emailed through to the email address provided.


Quotations

Quotes supplied will be valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated, these are subject to stock availability at the time of order and some additional freight charges may apply as required. International or Indent orders are quoted based on the current conversion rates and may be subject to change upon landing in New Zealand.


Cancellation / Returns

Orders may be cancelled and a credit supplied prior to the order been dispatched. If your order has been dispatched we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee and any labour or freight costs that may of been incurred by the company. Cancelling an order after it has been confirmed and payment or an order number has been received will be at our discretion. Credit requests must be submitted within 7 days of your order being dispatched. Credits for goods returned will be subject to approval at our discretion. Products must be returned in the original packaging in the same condition supplied complete with all relevant information and manufacturer certificates. If the product has been used or the packaging damaged your credit request may be declined or additional fees may apply. Credits approved may exclude freight and/or handling fees.


Please be aware that any product that has been manufactured, cut to length or in any other way modified will not be accepted for credits.


Credit requests will be processed once we have received the returned goods and inspected the condition, our team will then sign the return off as approved for credit.

Any product supplied must not be used in a way for which it was not designed, this includes exceeding the working load limit, the manufacturer conditions of use and warranty will apply. Any product failure must be returned immediately with a report covering use at time of failure and prior use. If the product is found to be at fault then a replacement or refund will apply, any additional costs will not be covered.

Manufacturer or International supplier time-frames and deliveries are beyond our control. Capital Chains will not be held liable for delays in delivery or any costs incurred due to a delayed delivery that was outside of our control. Product weights and dimensions supplied are approximates only and are for shipping or estimate purposes only. If accurate product weight and dimensions are required please contact us prior to placing your order.


Shipping, Delivery & Freight Forwarding

Products that are in stock under 25kgs or 0.25 metric cube are generally dispatched within 1-3 days of receiving payment via CourierPost within New Zealand or Main freight / DHL for International deliveries. Heavy items/orders over 25kgs are generally dispatched within 2-4 days of receiving payment via Mainstream within New Zealand.

Capital Chains are not liable for any costs for lost goods, damaged, returned or late deliveries. In this case we may be able to assist lodging a claim with the relevant freight company.

If you have a preferred transport/courier company and would like to arrange collection of your order please contact us so we can arrange a suitable time for collection. It is the customers responsibility to supply any documentation required and to contact your transport/courier company to arrange collection.

Any information provided by Capital Chains is confidential, and may only be released or passed to a third party with prior written approval. In line with the Privacy Act 2020 please refer to our privacy policy on our website for more information.

We may at times contact you via email to advise information regarding new products, specials and clearance deals, and for any other promotions we believe would be of interest to our customers. Any email we send to you will be in line with the Unsolicited Messages Act 2007. If you would like to stop receiving emails from us please reply to any email with the subject line "unsubscribe" and your contact details will be removed from our database.
